Is your vision loss affecting your independence, safety, mobility or emotional well-being? If so, you might benefit from vision loss rehabilitation therapy.
To get started, speak to your ophthalmologist, optometrist or other health care professional. They understand your vision loss and can help you decide whether, and when, rehabilitation therapy may be right for you – and they can refer you to us through our quick and secure online referral form.
Once your health care professional makes the referral, we will review the information provided and contact you by phone within five business days to discuss your needs and goals, and work with you to develop a personalized rehabilitation plan.
Your rehabilitation plan may include a range of services, depending on your needs and goals. Visit our services page for more information. These services may be delivered over a series of appointments in your home or community, your workplace, over the phone, online or at one of our Vision Loss Rehabilitation Newfoundland and Labrador centres located in St. John's, Grand Falls-Windsor, Corner Brook and Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
